(1) Questions on which technology was used rather than the purpose or effect of its use, and whether material that is radically altered by a non-generative system would also be synthetic; suggest a qualifier distinguishing work in which AI is used solely for technical processing or enhancement, without altering expressive content, to keep this term clear of the separate entry on digital alteration. (2) Consider the level of AI involvement, that may not be quantifiable, and must be applied in every dispute; suggesting that the document should either say who makes that determination or flag definitions as terms requiring negotiated thresholds in any agreement that cites the definition. (3) Consider a separate entry for material that is part captured and part generated, such as an authentic image extended to fill a wider frame.
